Lotte Center Hanoi, Skyscraper in Ba Đình, Vietnam
Lotte Center Hanoi is a skyscraper with 65 above-ground floors and 5 underground levels, reaching 272 meters (892 feet) tall with a modern glass facade. The building combines retail on the lower levels, office space in the middle sections, and residential apartments plus a hotel with hundreds of rooms in its upper reaches.
Construction began in 2010 and finished in September 2014. The completion coincided with Vietnam's National Day anniversary.
The tower's design takes inspiration from the traditional Vietnamese Áo Dài dress, with its flowing lines reflected in the building's silhouette. You can see this cultural connection in the elegant contours of the facade when viewing it from street level.
The building is easily accessible from the street, with the main entrance located at the base near the shops. If you want to visit the observation deck, you will need to travel to the upper floors where the hotel and residential areas are located.
The observation deck on the 65th floor offers views of four major lakes: West Lake, Thu Le Lake, Ngoc Khanh Lake, and Giang Vo Lake. From this height, you can see how these bodies of water frame the city layout.
