Stjørdal Municipality is an administrative region in Trøndelag that brings together the town of Stjørdalshalsen and several villages including Hell, Hegra, Lånke, and Skatval. The area spans forested valleys and countryside in eastern Norway.
The municipality was established in 1902 as an independent unit and took its present form in 1962 when four separate areas merged into one. This union created the foundation for the region as it exists today.
