Våland

Våland is a residential neighborhood situated in the southern part of central Stavanger, located beside Mosvatnet lake. The area contains homes and streets where residents go about their daily routines.

The area developed around earlier watchtowers that were used to observe the region. The current Våland tower replaced these older structures and has become part of the local landscape.
