Intility Arena, Fußballstadion in Oslo
Intility Arena is a football stadium in the Valle Hovin area on Oslo's east side, serving as the home ground of Vålerenga. The ground has four stands arranged around the pitch, with an open roof design that keeps sightlines clear from every seat.
The stadium opened in 2017 after Oslo's city council transferred the Valle Hovin site to Vålerenga in 2008. It was first known as Vålerenga Kultur- og idrettspark before a sponsorship agreement brought its current name.
Locals often call the ground Valle rather than its official sponsor name, reflecting a strong sense of local ownership. On match days, supporters from Oslo's east side fill the seats and create a connection between the club and its neighborhood.
The stadium is easy to reach by T-bane, bus, or tram, with Helsfyr station being the nearest stop. Accessible entrances are available, and transport connections from across the city are generally good.
The ground includes designated standing areas fitted with rail supports that allow fans to lean safely, without removing seats. This type of setup was still a relatively rare choice for a new Scandinavian stadium when the ground opened.
