Lady of Most Holy Rosary Parish Church

Lady of Most Holy Rosary Parish Church is a Catholic worship place with a grand front and sturdy supporting walls in Baliwag. The building stands in Barangay Makinabang and operates under the Diocese of Malolos while maintaining several connected chapels, including one dedicated to Saint Barbara.

The church was founded in 1981 as a simple wooden chapel built by the community. Over time, residents contributed their labor and resources to transform it into a concrete structure through a series of renovations.

The parish holds one of the largest religious processions in Baliwag each October 7, honoring Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. This celebration brings the community together and shows how deeply the people value their devotion to Mary.

The name of Barangay Makinabang comes from a sugarcane press machine introduced during Spanish colonial times. The word refers to locals who waited their turn to use the pressing machine for their crops.
