Dealul cu Lilieci Cernătești, Nature reserve in Cernătești, Romania.
Located in Buzău County, this 10.59-hectare protected area features wild lilac colonies growing among Quercus pubescens and Quercus cerris trees.
The area gained official protected status in 2000 through Law No.5, establishing protection measures for the wild lilac species Syringa vulgaris.
The reserve contains remnants of ancient settlements, including walls and foundations of one of Romania's earliest Christian churches from the 4th century.
Visitors can reach the reserve via county road DJ203K connecting Săpoca to Vlădeni, with signs directing to Dealul cu Lilieci after Cernătești church.
The reserve hosts thermophilic species and termites, indicating a specific hill steppe climate comparable to the Pontic region.
