Sokol District, human settlement in Russia
Sokol District is a residential area in northern Moscow that combines older apartment buildings with newer residential construction. The neighborhood spans a large area with parks, schools, shops, and services that serve the local population.
Sokol District developed during the 20th century from a rural suburb into a residential neighborhood. The name comes from the Sokol movement, a gymnastics organization that was active in the region.
