The Aleksandrovskoe real school stands as a two-story educational structure with classical architectural elements on Republic Street in central Tyumen.
Founded in 1879 by Siberian governor-general Nikolai Kaznakov, the institution provided education for young men until its closure in 1919.
The school received scientific equipment from Massachusetts Institute of Technology through connections with American journalist George Kennan in the 19th century.
Located at Republic Street 7, the building maintains its original exterior features and represents a prime example of 19th-century Russian educational architecture.
The physics laboratory, documented in photographs from 1889, contained advanced scientific instruments that matched the standards of leading American educational institutions.
