The estate features a two-story main house with ruins, service buildings, and a landscaped park situated on the banks of the Zhizdra River.
The Obolensky family owned the estate until 1917, when they emigrated abroad following the Russian Revolution, leaving the property to serve various public functions.
The estate includes the Nikolskaya Church, constructed in 1845 under Prince Obolensky's direction, which stands as an example of classical Russian architecture.
The estate grounds remain open to visitors within the Ugra National Park, with restored entrance gates and a viewing platform in the park area.
The last owner, Prince Alexei Obolensky, established the Berezichi Glass Factory in 1912, which continues operations near the estate to this day.
