The monastery complex includes Saint Alexander Svirsky Church, a bell tower, and a 25-meter-high Orthodox cross overlooking the surrounding area.
Founded in 1999, this monastery became the first Russian Orthodox religious institution established in the Kaliningrad region after the Soviet period.
The monastery maintains a museum dedicated to religious martyrs and an art gallery curated by the abbess Elisabeth.
Located in the village of Priozerje along the Slaja River, the monastery features a water spring that local residents consider life-giving.
The architectural design of the monastery incorporates elements reminiscent of medieval Teutonic Order castles that previously existed in this region.
