Serafimo-Ponetaevsky Convent, Orthodox monastery in Ponetaevka, Russia.

The convent features traditional Russian Orthodox architecture with ornate iconostasis, frescoes, and a prominent bell tower visible from distant points.

The Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast designated this religious complex as a regional cultural heritage site in January 1999.

The monastery contains multiple prayer halls where Orthodox ceremonies take place daily, maintaining centuries-old religious practices of the region.

Visitors can access guided tours of the monastery grounds, which include detailed explanations of the architectural elements and religious significance.

Two additional cloisters stand near this monastery, creating an exceptional concentration of religious buildings in the Shatkovsky District.
