Serafimo-Ponetaevsky Convent

Serafimo-Ponetaevsky Convent is an Orthodox monastery in Ponetaevka with traditional Russian religious architecture, ornate iconostasis, and decorative frescoes throughout its interior spaces. A prominent bell tower rises above the complex and can be seen from considerable distances.

This monastery was established during the period when Orthodox Christianity became central to Russian religious life. The complex received official recognition as a regional cultural heritage site in 1999, securing its protection.
