Holy Trinity church, Orthodox church in Nevsky District, Saint Petersburg, Russia
The Holy Trinity Church consists of a rotunda with sixteen Ionic columns supporting the entablature and a four-sided pyramid bell tower.
Built between 1785 and 1787 by architect Nikolay Lvov under the direction of Prince Alexander Vyazemsky, the church received its consecration in 1790.
The church architecture reflects classical elements with its rotunda structure and pyramid-shaped bell tower, influenced by the Pyramid of Cestius in Rome.
The church holds daily services with liturgies at 10:00 on weekdays and at 7:00 and 10:00 on Sundays and religious holidays.
The church earned its nickname 'Kulich and Paskha' due to its architectural design resembling traditional Russian Easter dishes.
