Успенская церковь

The Assumption Church is a stone building with clean lines and minimal ornamentation that reflect classical design principles. The structure comprises a central section and two smaller attached wings, creating a simple and balanced composition.

Construction of this stone church began in 1789 and was later expanded during the 19th century with two additional chapels dedicated to Saint Nicholas and John Chrysostom. These additions reflect the site's growing importance to the local community over several decades.

The church contains the relics of Saint Alexis of Bortsurmanyi since August 2000, making it an important destination for Orthodox Christian worshippers.

The interior was completely renovated in 2006 and a heating system was installed to make the building usable year-round. Access is straightforward and the church welcomes visitors for prayer and religious services.
