The Khmelita estate encompasses 24,633 hectares of protected land with an 18th-century manor house built in Elizabethan Baroque architectural style.
The estate belonged to the Griboyedov noble family until 1894 when Count Geyden acquired it and transferred 130 paintings from his father-in-law's collection.
The museum complex incorporates memorial halls dedicated to writer Alexander Griboyedov, displaying antique furniture, clocks, and personal belongings from his era.
The museum opens Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with admission fees ranging from 70 to 435 rubles for different tour options.
The estate features a natural park with centuries-old linden trees leading to the Kazan Church, constructed in 1759 using traditional architectural methods.
