The estate complex encompasses a memorial house, an 18th-century park, Saint Nicholas Church, and the Ostrovsky family necropolis spread across rolling hills.
In 1847, Nikolai Ostrovsky purchased the estate with 127 serfs, and his son Alexander later transformed it into a center of literary creation.
The estate preserves the living environment of playwright Alexander Ostrovsky, displaying his personal belongings, furniture, and manuscripts in their original settings.
The museum operates Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 17:45, with guided tours of the park and Ostrovsky House starting at 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, and 14:30.
From December to April, the estate transforms into Snegurochka's Residence, featuring ethnographic exhibitions and interactive theater programs.
