The castle opens daily from 10:00 to 16:00, offering guided tours through royal apartments, dungeons, and permanent exhibition halls about medieval life.
Anna Eriksdotter successfully defended the castle against Danish forces in 1520 after her husband's death, maintaining control over the strategic fortress.
