Krusenstiernska gården, Historical residential complex and museum in Kalmar, Sweden
The estate contains numerous wooden buildings from the 1800s, surrounded by a high fence and located 400 meters from Kalmar Castle.
The property, purchased by Hermina von Krusenstierna in 1874, functioned as a self-sustaining farm where surplus crops were sold at the local market.
The mansion preserves the original furniture and objects from the von Krusenstierna family, including items from their travels to the East Indies.
The museum opens seasonally from late April through September, with guided tours explaining the daily life of 19th-century Swedish nobility.
This urban garden estate remains the only preserved bourgeois country house maintaining its original layout and dimensions in Kalmar.
