Laxå Municipality

Laxå Municipality is a local government area in Örebro County in central Sweden with a mix of forests, lakes, and rural communities. The region encompasses several small towns and settlements spread across varied landscapes.

The area took its current form in 1971 when several local districts merged together. This consolidation unified parts of the historical provinces of Närke and Västergötland.
