Following the 1895 Ljubljana earthquake, the Court House Palace was constructed to replace damaged judicial buildings and establish a central location for legal proceedings.
The Court House Palace hosted significant legal proceedings during the post-World War II period, including the Rožman trial of 1945 and Nagode trial of 1946.
Located on Tavčarjeva ulica in central Ljubljana, the Court House Palace continues to serve as an administrative center for regional courts and legal institutions.
The building received monument status in 2008 and underwent extensive renovations to integrate modern judicial facilities while preserving its 19th-century architectural features.
