Huai Yot

Huai Yot is an administrative district located in northern Trang Province, characterized by hilly and forested terrain with numerous small villages. The area comprises several townships connected by local roads serving as the main access routes through the region.

The district was originally called Khao Khao before being renamed in 1939. It gradually developed into an important administrative center serving the northern parts of the province.

The local communities here practice traditional crafts and agricultural methods that shape the character of daily life. Markets and village gathering places reflect these customs through locally made goods and seasonal celebrations.

This district is best reached by road through connections from nearby districts that wind through the valley. Travel during drier months is easier as roads tend to be in better condition throughout the area.

The territory features numerous limestone caves scattered throughout the landscape that create a distinctive geography. This location sits at the intersection of three provinces, making it a natural boundary point for the region.
