Khao Khitchakut

Khao Khitchakut is an administrative district in Chanthaburi Province with mountainous and forested terrain throughout its area. It consists of five communes containing 46 villages and includes portions of a national park with diverse wildlife and plant life.

The district gained official status in 2007 after previously operating as part of larger administrative areas. This formal separation marked an important development in local governance and territorial organization.
