Khok Samrong

Khok Samrong extends across 982.5 square kilometers of central Thailand territory, containing thirteen sub-districts and one hundred thirty-seven villages within its boundaries.

The district, formerly known as Phu Kha, underwent multiple administrative changes since 1909, including a name change to Sa Bot before receiving its current designation.

Kasetsart University maintains an educational campus in Tambon Phaniat, contributing to the intellectual development of the Lopburi province through higher education programs.

The district office coordinates thirteen tambon administrative organizations that manage local governance across the region, serving a population of more than 86,000 residents.
