Novoiavorivsk

Novoiavorivsk is a city in Yavoriv Raion in Lviv Oblast, situated in western Ukraine. The settlement spreads across flat terrain with residential blocks and industrial facilities that shape its appearance.

The settlement was founded in 1965 as Yantarne to support sulfur mining operations and achieved city status in 1986. This growth reflects Soviet-era industrial expansion in the region.
