Khoroshiv, Mining settlement in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine
Khoroshiv is a mining settlement in Zhytomyr Oblast situated at about 208 meters above sea level. The town developed around religious buildings, a monastery, and fortification walls that still define its appearance.
The settlement was first recorded in 1545 under the name Oleksandropil and initially belonged to Alexander Pronsky. It later passed to the Polish Leszczynski family through inheritance.
