Hlevakha

Hlevakha is an urban-type settlement about 10 kilometers south of Kyiv in Kyiv Oblast. The area consists mainly of residential homes and dacha properties spread across fertile land, with scattered community buildings.

The settlement was founded in the 16th century and has been part of Kyiv region's history since then. Its administrative status and boundaries changed several times over the centuries, most recently during a major regional reorganization in 2020.

The settlement features many dacha homes where residents grow vegetables and spend time with family, a practice deeply rooted in local life. These seasonal properties shape the character of the place and reflect how people here balance work and leisure.
