National Circus of Ukraine

The National Circus of Ukraine is a large Neoclassical building with symmetrical facades and classical ornamental details located in central Kyiv. The interior features a circular performance ring designed to accommodate around 2000 spectators and is equipped for various types of circus performances.

A permanent circus building was first established on this site in 1890, later replaced by the structure that stands today. The current building was completed in 1960 and blends Soviet architectural elements with classical design principles.

The building serves as a major venue for circus arts in the city, hosting performances ranging from acrobatic acts to comedy routines and dance numbers. Visitors encounter different types of shows that reflect the long tradition of circus performance in the region.
