Mena Zoo

Mena Zoo is a protected wildlife facility in Chernihiv Oblast covering around 9 hectares with mammals, birds, and reptiles housed in naturalized enclosures. Visitors move through the property on marked paths designed to provide views of the different animal species.

The facility was established in 1975 and became a regional conservation center during the late Soviet period. It developed as an important place for wildlife preservation in the region.

Educational programs at Mena Zoo connect local residents with wildlife through guided tours and regular demonstrations of animal behavior patterns.
