The Church of the Resurrection stands as an architectural monument with distinctive domes and traditional Orthodox design elements near the Southern Bug river.
Initially constructed in 1910 under architect Gregory Artynov's guidance, the building replaced a former Dominican monastery that dated back to 1630.
The cathedral serves as the primary center for Orthodox worship in Vinnytsia, hosting regular religious services and maintaining Eastern Christian traditions.
Visitors can access the church throughout the week, with main services conducted on Sundays and religious holidays according to the Orthodox calendar.
The building experienced multiple transformations, including periods as a warehouse, sports hall, and concert venue before returning to religious use in 1990.
