Bourne Wood, Coniferous woodland in Farnham, England

The woodland stretches across hills and valleys, featuring extensive paths through dense stands of pine trees and natural sandy soil surfaces.

Two Bronze Age burial mounds from ancient settlements remain within the woodland boundaries, measuring 21 and 26 meters in diameter.

The forest gained international recognition in 1999 when it served as a filming location for the movie Gladiator, leading to numerous productions.

Visitors can access the woodland throughout the year, with parking fees ranging from £1 for two hours to £3 for all-day visits.

The northern section contains remnants of a World War II searchlight post where Canadian soldiers established operational structures and barracks.
