Mission Santa Clara de Asís

Mission Santa Clara de Asís is a Spanish mission church featuring a white facade, two bell towers, and restored colonial-era artwork in its central nave. The structure displays the architectural style typical of 18th-century California missions with simple lines and interior religious paintings.

Founded by Franciscan missionaries in 1777, the mission relocated five times due to floods and earthquakes that damaged earlier structures. Its present location provided the permanence needed for it to grow into an enduring spiritual center.
