Leavey Center

Leavey Center is a sports facility at Santa Clara University featuring a main court for games and events alongside additional training spaces. The building houses athletic offices, conditioning areas, and support rooms designed for the university's basketball programs and student-athletes.

The center opened in 2000 and replaced an earlier building that had used an air-supported fabric roof. The new construction introduced modern structural techniques and expanded the available athletic facilities on campus.

The facility serves as the primary venue for Santa Clara University Broncos Division I basketball teams and hosts numerous collegiate athletic tournaments.

The building is accessible via campus roads with multiple entry points for different areas. Visitors should check in advance about public access options, as the facility primarily serves university activities and events.

The facility features a modern steel roof system supported by eight concrete caissons, which replaced the earlier air-supported design. A second practice court was integrated behind the main bleachers to maximize the use of available space.
