995 Fifth Avenue, Residential skyscraper on Fifth Avenue and East 81st Street, Manhattan, US.

The 16-story apartment building stands directly across from Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Upper East Side.

Architect Rosario Candela designed the structure in 1926 as The Stanhope Apartment Hotel, which opened its doors to residents in 1927.

The Rembrandt Room cabaret inside the building featured regular performances by musicians George Feyer and Greta Keller during its hotel period.

The building provides doorman service, concierge assistance, central air conditioning, elevators, and laundry facilities in each residential unit.

Jazz musician Charlie Parker spent his final moments in this building, where he died in March 1955.
