Marcus Garvey Park, Urban park in Mount Morris neighborhood, Manhattan, US.

Marcus Garvey Park extends across 20 acres of land, featuring sports fields, playgrounds, and an amphitheater between Harlem and East Harlem neighborhoods.

Originally named Mount Morris Park in 1840, the space was renamed in 1973 to honor Marcus Garvey, a leader of African American civil rights.

The park contains the Richard Rogers Amphitheater, which hosted the Harlem Cultural Festival in 1969, known as Black Woodstock among local residents.

Visitors can access multiple recreational facilities including a swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball fields, and two children's playgrounds throughout the year.

The Harlem Fire Watchtower, constructed in 1857, stands as the last remaining cast-iron fire tower in New York City.
