The Albert Pike Residence Hotel extends across two eight-story wings connected by a ten-story section, featuring decorated stone pediments and triple arched windows.

Built in 1929 by the Farrell Hotel Company for one million dollars, this brick structure was designed by architect Eugene John Stern in Spanish Colonial Revival style.

The main lobby displays a collection of original elements including stenciling, stained glass windows, decorative tiles, iron work, and a Hazelton Bros grand piano.

The building stands at 701 South Scott Street, offering efficiency apartments following renovations that modernized its infrastructure to meet current safety standards.

Terra cotta medallions above the main entrances display heraldic shields marked with the initials AP, commemorating the building's namesake Albert Pike.
