Cathedral of St. Andrew, Gothic Revival cathedral in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas

The Cathedral of St. Andrew features a 231-foot-tall bell tower containing a 3,400-pound bell, the heaviest in Pulaski County, Arkansas.

The cornerstone was laid in 1878, and the cathedral was dedicated in 1881 by Bishop Edward Fitzgerald, becoming the oldest continuing place of worship in Little Rock.

The cathedral displays Stations of the Cross sculptures created by Joseph Sibbel, originally intended for Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago but mistakenly delivered to Little Rock.

The cathedral offers daily Mass services, with confessions available on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m., Sundays at 11:20 a.m., and Tuesday through Friday at 11:30 a.m.

The structure is built from native granite mined from the Fourche Mountains section of the Ouachita Mountains and features a crypt where deceased bishops rest.
