Christ Church Glendower

The brick church features Doric order entablature with pediments at each end, containing lunette windows and surrounding cemetery on 10 acres of land.

William B. Phillips designed the church in 1831, incorporating classical influences from Thomas Jefferson's architectural principles for religious buildings in Albemarle County.

The church serves as the oldest Episcopal building in St. Anne's Parish, maintaining regular worship services and connecting the local community since 1832.

Located on VA 713, the church stands 0.4 miles southwest of the junction with VA 712, providing religious services to residents of Keene and surrounding areas.
