Schloss Alterlaa, Heritage château in Liesing district, Vienna, Austria.

Schloss Alterlaa is a baroque mansion in the Liesing district featuring a symmetrical layout with two floors and a central gatehouse. Stone pillars frame the entrance, while ornate iron gates surround the property and define its formal appearance.

The property was first documented in 1244 and developed as a country residence over subsequent centuries. In the 18th century, court architect Nikolaus Pacassi undertook major renovations that shaped its current baroque appearance.

The estate takes its name from the original settlement and displays baroque features visible throughout the property. Its architectural style reflects how Vienna's wealthy residents designed country retreats as escapes from city life.

The property remains in private ownership and is not open to the public. Visitors can view the exterior from the street through the ornamental gates surrounding the estate.

Nearby streets honor notable Austrian actresses including Marte Harell and Alma Seidler, both of whom built significant careers in theater. These street names pay tribute to artistic contributions woven into Vienna's cultural story.
