Pfarrkirche Mariahilf, Parish church in Rieden-Vorkloster district, Bregenz, Austria.
Pfarrkirche Mariahilf is a parish church in Bregenz with an oval central hall, two semicircular side chapels, and a choir. The structure features tent and hipped roofs, while a five-tiered octagonal tower marks the front elevation.
The church was built between 1925 and 1931 based on architect Clemens Holzmeister's design. It was created as a memorial to those from Vorarlberg who died in World War I.
The interior features a ceiling fresco by Leo Sebastian Humer showing the Protective Mantle Madonna with the Trinity above the worshippers. Stained glass windows created by multiple artists fill the space with colored light throughout the day.
The church is located at Mariahilfstraße 52 and is accessible during regular worship services. You can reach the parish office by phone at +43 5574 71839 for questions about visiting or opening times.
Inside stands a large organ with 38 registers built by the Mayer brothers. This instrument combines romantic sound concepts with principles of the Alsatian organ reform movement.
