Villa Beau-Site

Villa Beau-Site is a five-story residential townhouse with a white-brick facade decorated with green bricks and blue stone accents throughout. The building features a central staircase connecting two main rooms on each level.

The house was designed and built by Dutch architect Arthur Nelissen in 1905. It received protected monument status in 2006.

The facade displays geometric patterns and stylized roses between floors, reflecting the craft and attention to detail of the era. These ornaments show how residential buildings were once treated as works of art.

The building is located on Avenue du Mont Kemmel and features asymmetrical elements on the ground floor, including horseshoe arches. The first floor opens to a small loggia through an arched entrance.

A bas-relief depicting a vase of flowers adorns the upper section of the facade, adding an extra dimension to the house. This detail shows how floral motifs in Art Nouveau architecture conveyed elegance and refinement.
