Huracan

Huracan is a steel roller coaster in Bellewaerde Park that travels through indoor and outdoor sections of a building structure. The ride features multiple twists and turns as it travels along its track, taking passengers on a roughly 2-minute journey.

This roller coaster was built in 2013 to replace a previous boat ride that occupied the same location. The redesign of the area brought a modern steel attraction to the park where the older ride had once stood.

The name comes from Mexican mythology, referencing an ancient deity connected to wind, fire, and storms. Visitors experience this cultural reference through the themed elements that appear during the ride.

Access to this ride is directly from the park grounds and wait times can vary depending on visitor numbers. It is best to plan your visit during quieter times of day when other attractions are not as busy.

This coaster blends dark indoor tunnel sections with traditional loops and open-air elements in an unusual combination. A built-in audio system runs throughout the entire track, creating an immersive experience beyond what most roller coasters offer.
