Oiz, Mountain summit in Biscay, Spain
Oiz is a mountain summit in Biscay that rises to about 1,000 meters and features steep slopes throughout. Two main climbing routes approach it from the villages of Iurreta and Munitibar.
The mountain served as a prehistoric settlement where shepherds lived and left behind stone monuments and burial sites. The San Juan de Momoitio site provides evidence of this ancient human presence.
