Ballermann 6, Beach club in S'Arenal, Spain
Ballermann 6 is a beach club on Playa de Palma that has operated under its current name since 2017. The steel structure displays petrol green accents and white-yellow signage, while the terrace sits directly on the sand and is lined with umbrellas.
A simple beach hut opened here in 1972 as the sixth of ten bathing facilities along the coast. Decades later it became a steel cabin with expanded rooms, before the 2017 name change marked the shift to a more modern concept.
Visitors from Germany shape daily life here, and you often hear more German than Spanish spoken around the tables and bar. Many guests return season after season and recognize each other, giving the place a familiar, almost neighborly feel.
The beach lies just a few meters away, so you can easily move between your seat and the water. Restrooms are located inside, and the bar serves drinks throughout the day.
The place carries the colloquial nickname Baller in everyday speech and ranks as one of the most recognized addresses for German-speaking guests on Mallorca. Despite the modernized official name, the old label remains alive in daily conversation and surfaces regularly in discussions.
