La Ribera is a beach in Palma, on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain. It lies on the eastern side of the bay, about 600 km east of Madrid. The climate is mild, with an average temperature of 18 °C and about 734 mm of rain per year.
The beach developed from a simple coastal area into a modern bathing destination beginning in the 1960s. This transformation reflects the growing importance of tourism to Palma.
