Cambrils, Mediterranean coastal town in Costa Dorada, Spain

The town extends over 7 kilometers of coastline, featuring a marina, nine Blue Flag beaches, and a historic quarter with medieval architecture.

The Roman villa of La Llosa marks the settlement's ancient origins along Via Augusta, connecting it to the capital city of Tarraco.

The Agriculture Cooperative of Cambrils, established in 1902, maintains the production of regional fruits, vegetables, and Siurana olive oil.

The port area contains numerous seafood restaurants, water sports facilities, and beach amenities including showers and first aid stations.

A signal tower called Telégrafo de l'Esquirol stands near the Baron of Vilafortuny castle, formerly used for coastal communications.

Costa Dorada Campsites: Mobile Homes and Seaside Pitches

Costa Dorada extends over more than 200 kilometers of Mediterranean coastline in Catalonia, between Tarragona and the Ebro delta. This region offers many campsites along sandy beaches, such as those in Salou, Mont-roig del Camp, and La Torre del Sol. The facilities provide various types of accommodation: tent and caravan pitches, equipped mobile homes, and wooden bungalows. Most sites feature several pools, some with water slides, as well as restaurants, supermarkets, and sports grounds. The campsites in this selection are located a few minutes’ walk from the beaches and provide access to seaside activities. Several establishments like La Siesta Salou Resort or Sanguli Salou offer water parks for families. Others, such as Yelloh Village Gavina or Alannia Els Prats, favor large plots and direct access to the sea. Proximity to the PortAventura theme park is an advantage for families staying at campsites in Salou and surrounding areas.
