Voramar

Voramar is a sandy beach along Spain's Mediterranean coast that stretches roughly 550 meters with a wide pedestrian promenade running beside the water. The shoreline spans about 50 meters across and offers direct access to the sea from the walkway above.

The beach became a sought-after destination in the early 1900s when wealthy families began building grand villas along the shoreline. This building boom transformed the area into a fashionable retreat for the Mediterranean coast.

Lifeguards patrol during the swimming season from June through September, and showers and restrooms are available throughout this period. The wide promenade is easy to walk and accommodates visitors with different mobility needs.

The area holds both ISO 14001 environmental certification and Q tourist quality credentials that reflect strong operational standards. These certifications are noted on plaques and signage visible to visitors walking the shore.
