Utrera

Located 24 kilometers from Seville, Utrera extends across 684 square kilometers of land at an elevation of 49 meters above sea level.

The settlement dates back to prehistoric times, with Roman presence known as Castro Vinaria, before its incorporation into the Kingdom of Castile in 1340.

The municipality preserves five chapels constructed between the 14th and 18th centuries, alongside churches and a medieval castle from the 14th century.

The C-1 line of Cercanías regional rail services and multiple bus routes connect Utrera with neighboring areas, making transportation readily available.

Recent excavations revealed a former synagogue within a building later used as a bar, indicating a Jewish presence before their expulsion from Spain in 1492.
