Description
Castillo is a fortress featuring a square Tower of Homage with two vaulted interior sections and multiple defensive towers positioned at corners and along the walls. The complex stands on a natural hill in central Utrera, near Santiago Parish Church and the Convent of the Immaculate Conception.
History
The fortress was built in the 13th century over a Moorish tower and served as a key defensive position for the region. It was destroyed by Granada's forces in 1368, ending its military use.

The courtyard hosts film screenings, theater performances, and music concerts regularly, especially during summer months. The space has become an important gathering place for the local community today.
