Utrera

Utrera is a municipality in Seville Province located about 24 kilometers south of Seville city. The area spans across land with five chapels, churches, and a medieval castle that shape its built character.

The settlement traces its roots to prehistoric times and was known to the Romans as Castro Vinaria. In 1340 it became part of the Kingdom of Castile, after which fortifications and religious buildings developed over the following centuries.
