Vistabella

Vistabella is a small village in La Secuita with three main parallel streets called Verdaguer, Germanor, and Sant Bartomeu that are crossed by Major street. The settlement features a central square with a fountain and a modernist-style church that define the village center.

During the 13th century, the monastery of Santes Creus and the Archbishop of Tarragona shared administrative rights and jurisdiction over the area. This division of authority shaped the settlement's early development.

The village shows traditional building methods through its narrow streets and tightly arranged houses, reflecting how people organized their daily lives here. The layout reveals local construction practices adapted to the needs of the community.

The village is connected by a marked hiking trail to the neighboring settlements of Argilaga and Las Gunyoles, allowing visitors to explore the surrounding agricultural landscape. The trail provides an easy way to experience the wider region on foot.

The village hosts an annual summer festival featuring a table tennis championship at Casal Jujol that draws participants from neighboring communities. This unusual sporting event has become a notable gathering for the local region.
