Santuario de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves

Santuario de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves is a sanctuary with distinctive architecture where the main chapel rises above the nave and features curved vault ceilings. The complex includes an attached museum displaying religious artwork, vestments, and precious objects collected over centuries of devotional practice.

Construction of the sanctuary began in 1517 following the relocation of a terracotta figure to a newly built chapel. This move established the site as a major destination for pilgrimage and worship that continues today.
